The Art of Starting: Foundations of Portrait Drawing

Join us for a relaxed two-hour session where we’ll explore how to start a portrait drawing with confidence.

Each pose will be limited to 20 minutes, giving you time to focus on the essentials — the overall shape of the head, the placement of features, and simple shadow mapping.

Getting the start right is key — no amount of fancy shading can fix a wonky nose or misplaced eye!
