Please bring your own drawing supplies to class. We recommend a sketchbook or drawing pad, a few pencils of varying hardness (2B–6B), an eraser, and a sharpener. You’re also welcome to bring any favourite tools you like to sketch with! Having materials you’re comfortable with will help you get the most out of the session.

Here’s a list of materials we recommend:

1. A2 drawing board

2. Pencils

   1. Wolf’s Carbon 6b, or

   2. Conte 1710

3. Smooth newsprint

   1. Sea white A3 smooth newsprint pad, or

   2. Strathmore 18x 24 smooth newsprint pad, or

   3. Jackson art smooth newsprint

4. Fine Sanding paper or sanding paper block

5. Single edge razor blade

6. Kneaded eraser
